The ultralight Mira I HL from Exped is an impressive 1-person tent made of outstanding materials that’s perfect for multi-day tours in summer. In addition to being lightweight, it’s also very comfortable and offers a good amount of space.

The Mira I HL from Exped is specially designed for one person to sleep inside. It has a sleeping area of 215 cm by 70 cm and can be extended on one side by opening the entrance with the adjoining vestibule. This increases the width to 170 cm, offering you plenty of storage space for a trekking backpack, walking boots and other equipment. Combined with the NFL 8.7 mm and NSL 9.6 mm DAC Featherlite poles, the tent weighs a total of 1,050 g.

In addition, it has a pack size of just 41 x 12 cm, so you can easily store it away in your trekking backpack. Since Exped wanted to keep the tent’s weight to a minimum, there is no footprint. If you want, you can get an additional footprint for protection against the ground.

The Mira I HL has a height of 111 cm on the outside and 103 cm on the inside, so you can comfortably sit down. You can even use it as a well-ventilated mosquito shelter by not using the tent cover. The poles with hubs and clips let you quickly pitch the trekking tent. It’ll even be stable without guy lines!
